Great shirt, but only available with long sleeves.

I ordered this shirt along with the other new shirt from The Lawyer collection. As always, Barons delivers another couple of great shirts. However, there is no option to choose slightly shorter sleeves (-3 cm) on these two new shirts, as you can on some of their other "The Lawyer" shirts. At least not yet. It seems like Barons is always very cautious when launching new shirts. They first want to see how the shirt is received before offering it in variations other than standard. For me, this means I have to pay a tailor to shorten the very long sleeves by 3 cm to what I would call normal length. Once that's done, they fit perfectly. Material and design are of fantastic quality.

Really cool that you have developed the existing model. Not too much and not too little - just perfect.

As always. Super quality, and reasonable price - super fast delivery.

Sharp all day

Absolutely a fantastic shirt, which also remains sharp late in the afternoon. Very easy to iron and at the same time has really good comfort and (for me) a super fit.

The lightest fabric type in the range: Striped signature twill (125 GMS). Upgraded with 100% organic extra-long staple (ELS) Giza cotton. This ensures the fabric is silk-soft like never before, yet as durable as it has always been.
Classic cutaway
The most classic and versatile collar, which looks sharp both with or without a tie. Our collar stays and interlining technology ensure that the collar maintains its shape wash after wash.
Single cuff
The cuff has two buttons so you can easily adjust your fit at the wrist. The rounding around the buttonhole adds elegance to the otherwise sharp look.

Organic cotton of the absolute world-class

In all our business shirts, we use only 100% organic extra-long staple (ELS) Giza cotton. The cotton is certified, free from recycled plastic, and in the top 0.1% of the world's cotton fibers.

Organic cotton from Egypt
We only use organic Giza cotton from the fields near the Nile Delta in Egypt. The natural water resource from the Nile allows us to produce without using synthetic pesticides or GMO seeds.
Comfort – without plastic
To enhance comfort, we use a special weaving technique that gives the shirt 10-15% natural stretch. All without adding synthetic plastic fibers.
Cotton is not just cotton
When it comes to cotton, it's incredibly simple. The longer the fibers, the longer the shirt lasts. That's why we only use 100% organic extra-long staple Giza cotton, also known as "ELS cotton," which represents the top 0.1% of the global cotton market.

Synthetic fibers. No thanks.

As a responsible company, we could never dream of adding non-biodegradable synthetic fibers such as elastane, lycra, spandex, polyester, etc., to our shirts.

There are actually natural alternatives to achieve the same stretchability, but plastic is the easy, cheap, and polluting method. All textiles that are used repeatedly will lose some of their mass over time.

This means that parts of the textile end up in the environment, either from washing or from contact with various surfaces. We don't like microplastics; therefore, we choose the natural alternative, even though it is a bit more challenging and costly.

CO2 Footprint

What gets measured gets managed

We are proud that with Generation 4, we have reduced the CO2 footprint of our shirts by almost 50%. This is among the absolute lowest in our industry. Therefore, we have taken a very big step, but we expect to find further optimizations in the future.

Italian fabrics
The first generation of BARONS shirts consisted of the two models: The Consultant and The CEO. They were produced from fabrics by the respected Italian textile supplier Albini Group.
BARONS signature fabric launches
In the spring of 2017, we introduced the second generation – The first shirts produced in our proprietary signature fabric. At the same time, we introduced a new fit, Contemporary fit, which we still have. Over the following two years, we also introduced The Lawyer and The Founder to the product range.
Natural Stretch introduced
In all our self-developed fabric types, we introduced a new textile technology. We call it 'Natural Stretch', which means the fabric is more flexible and comfortable – without adding synthetic fibers. Additionally, both The CEO & The Consultant have been continuously refined with a new fusing technology. A sealing method that ensures no lint can accumulate between the three fabric layers that hold the buttons and buttonholes in a shirt. Your white shirt should remain completely white, wash after wash.
100% organic cotton
Generation 4 is our biggest innovation to date. Unlike Generation 3, which was built on conventional cotton, Generation 4 is exclusively based on some of the rarest and most exclusive cotton in the world - namely extra-long staple Giza cotton. The cotton represents the top 0.1% of the cotton market.
The Shirt. Forever refined.
In the future, we will further focus on reducing the carbon footprint of even the smallest components such as buttons, thread, and packaging. Additionally, we will continue to focus on increasing the share of renewable energy sources with our subcontractors. We do not yet have the perfect solution – but we are working on finding it.

Lækker skjorte, men fås kun med lange ærmer.

Jeg bestilte denne skjorte sammen med den anden nye skjorte fra The Lawyer-kollektionen. Som altid leverer Barons endnu et par lækre skjorter. Der er dog ikke mulighed for at vælge lidt kortere ærmer (-3 cm) på disse to nye skjorter, som man kan på nogle af deres andre "The Lawyer" skjorter. I hvert fald ikke endnu. Det virker som om, at Barons altid er meget forsigtige ifm. lancering af nye skjorter. De skal først lige se, hvordan skjorten bliver taget imod, inden de tilbyder skjorten i andre variationer end standard. For mig betyder det, at jeg selv må betale en skrædder for at få lagt de meget lange ærmer 3 cm op til det, som jeg vil kalde normal længde. Når det så er gjort, sidder de helt perfekt. Materiale og design er af fantastisk kvalitet.
